I went to visti my friends in El Paso and they took me to this place, and I had a lot of fun.This place can be very fun if sombody takes care of it, I think somebody has to clean the place even if we have to pay some money to gather there every weekend.
Red Sands right in my back yard!!! This place was pristine with
clean trails and sand to ride in. Now? It's a freaking trash dump
where you need to watch where your going. Watch out for very
large concrete chunks on the trails, wire from tons of burnt tires
that gets tangled up on your sprockets, nails galore to flatten all
four of your tires at any one time!!! Also the acres and acres of
broken glass and trash that people leave behind every weekend
with no one to pick it up, the crazy ass drivers that have no
respect for fellow off roaders, the crazy ass inexperienced idiots
drag racing down the main road ALWAYS causing some kind of
an accident and last but not least, watch out for the jackasses
that come out and shoot their guns off while people are riding
around!!! C'mon people let's take care of this place!!! Pack it in,
pack it out it's not that hard! Don't burn old tires and don't
burn those wood pallets!!!! Let's keep this place from going to

if u want to go ridin of course u always need to be aware of your surounding people drink ofcoure but hay its all good.it gets a little crazy there if u stay to late in the night .i love it cus we get a little tipy and go home .got to ride the bikes home so u know how that goes?or not .i need to bu a trailer .lol anyway wat im tryin to say is its a cool place to unwind.
Totally agee this would be a top rate place to ride had it not been for the irresponsible riders that litter it with trash and something I've noted several times are the people who bring a firearm out and fire it in a random direction putting people in harms way. It gets crowded here and lets be safer this includes those who ride under the influence. EXINGUISH BONFIRES!! PICK UP TRASH!! DONT DRINK AND RIDE!! PRACTICE SAFE GUN OWNERSHIP AND HANDLING!! BE AWARE OF SURROUNDINGS!!
First off let me tell state this is an opinion. Red Sands is small area of dunes east of El Paso City off of Montana rd. This is a place of nice sized dunes for jumping, roosting or to just ride. I try and ride out there almost every weekend if possible. Just like anywhere else there are alot of immature riders who have no care for anybody else and sometimes not even for themself there. Being a small riding area this can be dangerous for others. The main parking area is littered with trash and everything else to make to pop a tire. Its as if the people who use this place to ride don't care about it either. If it wasn't for the careless people out there it wuld be a 5 star. It can be a nice place out side of the main area but be careful of careless and immature riders.....Would I go back and ride, Yes I would...Only place to ride in El Paso that has dunes and trails...
