Directions
Shiloh Ridge is located just North of Alto, Texas, which is about 30 miles north of Lufkin, Texas. Exit off of Highway 69 at County road 2416. Exit 69 onto co rd 2416 and go West. Follow the Shiloh ridge signs that say "ORV riding area". Once you arrive you MUST check in at the gate, register, and pay the fee. (Coming from the North on 69 its just before Alto. From the south, its just past Alto.)
For a new park this place has a lot going for it.The most beautiful land and a lake that dominates the place.Camping was the best I have found around E-Texas,like the name says TREES are everywhere.Showers and a wash off rack like I've only wished for.All new and kept clean during the event, even the potapottys were pumped and clean everyday. This place looks like its going to be PARTY central.Everyone in our group had a great time even tho it was dusty that first day till the rain came that evening. Then it got GooooD.See you out there soon.
We have taken vacation here for a couple years now, for 4 days. Besides being a bit pricey for entry, it is a GREAT place to take your family. We had kids from 6-36 years old, and everyone had a blast. Great mud pits, great riding terrain for the kids, but also challenging rides for the adults, rocks, climbs, sand, and mud, s pits, - Every thing u can ask for! We will be returning next year!
Shiloh Ridge is a great place to ride. Lots of trails, hills, mud, showers, and running water at some camp sites. The place is laid out right and has a lot of hilly trails per acre. On holiday weekends the rate is the same whether you are going for one day or for the whole weekend, which is really expensive if you are there for one day. I dont know why they cant seem to work this out. For a one day ride on holidays, I'm going someplace else from now on.
Great ATV Park. Challenging even for a long time rider like myself. Hills, Gullies and plenty of trails throught the woods. Seams much larger than it is. Does'nt have much mud or water, Just a lot of fun trail, whoop-t-dos and gullies. Beautiful place, Friendly Staff. Best place I've been yet.
I have been a couple of times and every time I have had a blast. lots of hills with challenging trails, mud bogs, campsites are great. If your from southeast texas near beaumont, this is the best orv park that is the closest. lots to do and everyone has been very friendly.
as a side note, there is a new orv park called hogwallow in deweyville, havent been yet but sounds cool, no hills though im sure
