East Texas is full of excellent off road parks. Mud Creek is our favorite for a variety of reasons. It starts with the excellent management of the park and extends to all the amenities. Deep mud it's there, shallow mud too, forest trails galore, creeks and small ponds dot the property. The scenery changes with the seasons and stays fairly interesting even in winter. Behavior of guests is variable, and if you are modest at all avoid Mud Nats. On a weekly basis the behavior we observe at Mud Creek is less intrusive than most other parks we visit. You can ride some of the trails for hours on non-event weekends seeing few if any other riders for long periods of time.
We went this last weekend and had a blast. We had 7 in our group from 4 years old to 65 years old and everyone had fun. I am not for sure what some are talking about being wild, we had no issues and my husband and I are pretty conservative especially when it comes to our three kids. We didn't encounter anyone out of line, no late parties or craziness. We were there for three days and only saw about a third of the park. I agree that no matter what you like, you can find plenty of it here. Management was great too, no issues at all. This is our new favorite place to go.

This is our second time to park. If you like to ride on dirt roads and sit and watch people ride in a lake then this place is for you. If you like to ride trails and play in mud then please consider going elsewhere. Both times, the people that work there have been rude. Mudtoberfest was supposed to have multiple events going on ~~ but nothing was fulfilled as advertised. People that we talked with in park that also attended event were a little pissed about things not being as planned. Was more like a regular weekend with jacked up prices. My advice is to go somewhere else until they figure out what it means to be in this industry.
Mud Creek is a great place to ride. Have been going there for five years. The only event I avoid is Mud Nats. Too crowded. Not a good weekend for kids that weekend. Have to watch out for other drivers.
This is a great park to go too. The owner of the park is a good person that likes to make sure you have a good time. The park has everything you can think of. Plenty of mud and the sand pit is awesome. If you dont like the mud, it has plenty of dry trails that you can ride. You cant ride the entire park in one weekend. Our group of about 45 goes out there alot. We take our kids out there when an event is not being held. Events at any park gets wild. The only time I wont go is during Mudnats just because its too crowded. Any other time its the perfect park to go to.
I recommend everyone to try this park. You wont be disappointed.
