Found out this weekend from some friends that Rural Shade is currently closed. I would suggest checking their website before heading out. Rumor has it they have sold property.

First of all this place is really cool for beginers. This was my very first park to go ridding and i had a ball. The people there were EXSTREMLY nice and would help you with anything that you needed. The reason why i said its a good place to learn hw to ride is because the place is not crowded at all. Also ridding with cow crap around is fun because you can actully get off your bike and go pet the cows. If you dont have hat means that you arnt going out to the right spot and just drinking beer.

I was thinking about taking the family somewhere like this for the weekend. Definately don't want to deal with cow crap, sounds like just a bunch of hicks charging money to ride in fields to have a way to pay thier taxes. Can't blame them for being creative. If they lowered there price, and advertised on the internet exactly what you are going to encounter and don't forget to mention that you might get a cow pie in your face, Sales would probably tripple.

I paid $35 for Saturday and part of Sunday which was about $15 too much! The thing I remember most is there is a sign that says "quiet area". That is a total joke. There was loud music played until 4 AM so obviously no rules are enforced. When sleeping in a tent, there is no way to sleep with the music that loud.....there is no consideration for others. I liked some of the trails but the best part is access to the river. There was mud racing so that was enjoyable. The only way I would go again is if I was going with a bunch of friends again. But, next time I will be putting up my tent out away from the RV area and the loud*ss music!!
