600 acres of Sabine River bottom Land 500 acres Pine plantation. Lots of mud and trails that run along the river.
Directions
From Carthage: From SE Loop, take FM 699 South 12 miles to CR 437. Turn left and go 1/2 mile to park entrance.
From Tenaha: At intersection of Highways 84, 96 and 59, go East on Hwy. 84 for 4.2 miles to FM 699. Go north on FM 699 for 4.8 miles to CR 437. Turn right and go 1/2 mile to park entrance.
This place has some cool landscape to ride on. One area named Beaver's Battleground where the beavers dammed up the water and killed the timber, palmetto flats where palmettos cover the ground with trails throughout, and alligator run with trails down both sides of the slough. Pretty awesome.
