    The 589's, June 07, 2010

These tires are insane I got them on my 500 sportsman and they just tear up the trails. I have the 27" tires and they make my wheeler sit up higher along with the lift kit i have on it. Although I recomend getting the Gorilla axles if you but the 589's. Me and my uncle both have these tires and we both enjoy them. BEST tires out there! We ride up here in Alaska in the snow and the mud and they get through anything. Plus they make your quad just look beastly.

I put a set of 27" 589's on my Brute Force 750 and it can go through some mud now let me tell you. I ride on a lot of hard packed trails too (to get to the mud) and I've found them to not vibrate much at slower speeds like the Mud Lites but at higher speeds they shake the front end of the wheeler pretty good and it requires some added attention when riding to keep it on the trail. I would not recommend these tires for hard-packed trail riding.

I got a 1/2 worn out pair of these in 25/10/12s. First i modified the rims and put them on a Suzuki 230. other than a little tall and finally blowing the rear end, the quad would do wheelies in the mud. So I gave them to a friend who put them on the back of his Kawasaki 360 Prairie. The tires alone changed his whole outlook on the quad. I think it would be safe to say that it now goes farther in 2wd than it use to in 4wd. Every time we ride I am amazed at what the quad will do. Furthermore they have held up great to repeated burnouts and any other torture that can be dished out at them. If I ever need an all terrain/mud tire these are my number one choice.

I was a little hesitant buying these tires but they proved to be great in the snow and mud..

I recently put a set of 27 "ITP 589 on my Sportsman 700.I went up to Red River Motorcycle trails and tested them. They did very well in the harder sand.In the softer sand they would sit and dig.In the mud there is no better. It pulled me through any depth without problem.Best mud tire on the market.
