We've been coming out here for more than 5 years now. EVERY TIME we go they yell at us for something different. You would think we were trouble makers, but we are grown adults, that are there with family and friends! This last visit they told us to put our dogs on a leash or they would take care of them with their gun (FIREARMS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES)
The trails are fun and the place has plenty of acres to ride, but it's not enough for us to come back to be harassed by the owners. Make sure you say you're a visitor, we were also yelled at for saying we were guests. Also if you pay 50.00 to be a member your benefit is a bathroom, instead of hardly serviced porta potties.
On our 8 day atv excursion around North Texas, this was the last
stop. We had a BLAST! The sandy beach along the river was fun,
the hill climbs and rock climbs were fun, the sandy fast tracks
were fun, everyone was friendly and the place was well
maintained.We will definitely go back!
its an ok place to ride there isnt all that much mud unless you want to get in the river. all though i will never go back because i have been barred from the park because somebody had vandalized their new bath house and they thought it was me and my friends and they say they are going to try and sue us. and this is all because they are so up tight
RRMT is huge and I have enjoyed riding it for many years. The trails are as tough as you want them to be. If you want to take it easy and cruise there are trails for that all the way to the immpossible trails to ride. I take out my big ATV's and my RZR and I take that RZR everywhere the ATV's go. A lot of people say it is rutted out by the dirt bikes. I'm sorry but if a dirt bike rut can stop an ATV or side by side on a trail, all I can say is sell your stuff and take up fishing. 2500 acres... how much more do you need to find a full weekends worth of exciting riding. The camping is primitive and no hook-ups. Become a member, $50 per year, and you pay $5 less each day ($10) and camping is free plus you can go out during the week. I 'am a member and I'm glad to because non-members use the porta-pots and I use the flushers and showers in the shower house. Think about it? If you come out look for my riding group the "Red River Rescuers". We are the ones that always get asked to find the lost new people and pull out the stuck thrill seekers. Be safe.
Great place to ride no mater what your level.
We made the trip from Iowa and got the V.I.P.
treatment. great people great place to ride.
We will be going back.
